There's a ladies shoe shop opening where the cash for gold was.
Is that positive enough? - notice the new thread title.

Is the little fruit and veg shop beside Conways closed too? O'Sullivans fruit& veg shop across from the Garda station closed last year. I see that the replacement shop seems to have closed down, when I going past on Saturday. The shop looks open to me, they are selling Asian food products.

I think it is as far as you're concerned April!!! do you know where we're talking about? it's that little row of closed down shops and houses straight on down the road from where your bus/car turns over the bridge and heads in to the big smoke ;D

me thinks it just a takeaway coffee shop, way to small to sit in , mind you there is a patio built out the back but who would sit here and drink coffee and watch the trucks going by into haven hire... a walk to the big house would be better with your coffee in hand and you could sit on the lovely bench at the gates.

Actually that shop is open, sometimes I walk through there coming off the feeder bus.

Funny enough Joe, it seems to sell African products as well - I saw a notice in the window for a memorial service for the Col. Ojukwu, the Biafran leader during the civil war.

Since the sweet and Ice-cream shop opened it seems to be really busy. Any time I walk past there are queues inside. Hope it continues. Great to get a good news story.
