Was talking to him and he's going to concentrate on just making jewellery for another company with a wage coming in. He's finding it difficult to get time to make jewellery, do repairs and keep the bills paid. If someone arrives in the shop they could spend an hour or two of his time and buy nothing and he gets nothing done. If he was just selling jewellery and doing repairs then he could probably manage his time and costs better but when also making jewellery he is not finding it easy to keep above water.

I've heard the Academy Barbers are taking over the old €2 shop and then closing their existing shop, they reckon they'll get more passing trade and it's a bigger unit. Also Delhi Darber might be going, either downsizing in Celbridge or relocating somewhere else, most of their business is take aways these days.

Panic panic....Delhi Darbar cannot go! Hopefully it's just a rumour, i've been eating from there since they were in the old shopping centre, a really great Indian restaurant.

I see that Byrne's Butchers has closed after some years. It was a brave move to open in the recession.
