If you think the new concrete paths in Monasterevin are terrible and you want them changed then please join in a protest on Saturday 21st at 2 30 pm at the CYMS hall. Tell as many people as possible about this protest. The local news papers are invited and all our local councilors.

Does Monasterevin have a voice, can we stand up for ourselves ? Come along, make a banner, bring your family.

If we could get the same shot next saturday with the ramps packed with protesters, that would be brilliant.

If we could get the same shot next saturday with the ramps packed with protesters, that would be brilliant. doubt if the photo will happen, do you know the amount of effort that went into.1- training a pigeon to fly where i wanted. 2- getting the little fecker to come back to me. 3 training him to press the button with his beak, at the right time. 4- superglueing the camera onto it then removing it. only jokin, but will try and get good photo's of all the protester's that will be there. though not from that view, hopefully better. in reply to your question, ros. sorry but i don't reveal my source's. they could get into trouble, and where would i be then. up rubbish creek without a paddle.

Would it have anything to do with the truck with the lift that was seen in the area on the day. Maybe you could take a photo from the top window of the CY on the day.

hey forester, you were rumbled, still a very good photo, one of the things essential for a good photo, is to be in the right place at the right time.

Simply cause they dont give 2 s***** about the people of Monasterevin............ the town that has been forgotten about.... but they aint seen nothing yet !!!!!! There is a meeting Tues night and there will be more to be discussed than what was being protested about today.... like driving scumbags out of our town.........

..good stuff forester, you're fotos and posts were obviously seen by big brother over in naas and lets hope it moves things forward........but with regards to councillers i would have to agree with the first part of archie's post..........until we have a local person in situ we will always be fobbed off in such matters........ps don't be too hard on the bird..great foto..
