Explorer is shite. Full stop. Download mozilla firefox. It's a google product and its faster, more stable and way way more secure than explorer.

All I know is Internet Explorer shouldn't be crashing that often, I use ver 8 and it's fine. Maybe it's not as good as Firefox but it's good enough.
When you say "crash" do you mean hanging or totally bombing out and closing itself down. How is your PC on memory? does it run low on memory much of the time?

My google toolbar disappeared, and it won't come back, I think Internet Explorer killed it. But I still prefer internet explorer.

when it crashes i get an error notice telling me that explorer is shutting down, then it automatically starts up again. What operating system have you? If XP then try adjusting down the "hardware acceleration" for the display, it's usually set to full. This is where to find it, on the desktop start with right click and properties.

Kway. If you wantto protect your computer microsoft products are not the way to go. Hackers attack them more than any other and they are full of holes...hence all the updates. Spybot is a free download and catches/prevents way more than any microsoft/norton etc. product. www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html is the website. It's free and it works.

download AVG 8.5 and ad-aware they are both free - the more "protection" the better I say!!!!!!!
