We will be paying a visit too. The maggot fridge has packed up! maggots were getting too warm so were able to creep about too much. The minute you opened the door they would fall out, it's like something out of a horror film. So newer fridge put in place now and waiting for gases to settle, new home for maggots and bye bye old fridge. Couldn't have come at a better time.

It's not a brand new fridge sugar, just one from the house we used to rent.. So I'll be in maynooth with the old one next saturday, I'd better wash it out. I have literally just come in from sieving them into new containers!! They have to be kept really cold sugar, 0 degrees. Otherwise they will turn into castors, then bluebottles. Keeping them at zero keeps them in a dormant state. Don't know about your composter tho', you'll have plenty of maggots in the warmer weather, you just won't see them until they turn into flies..Ours come from dead turkeys!!! ok enough maggot talk., I'll have to do a search of the place for more dead electrical stuff.
