Looking like we will have a mixed week of rain and sun with a possible return to fine dry weather after next weekend. There go my plans for enjoying the long weekend in the garden with a good book and some vino. Ah well, have done a lot of that recently, so can catch up on the indoor work instead! Some are predicting a cold winter kicking in at the end of this month and others are predicting a mild winter so as usual we just have to wait and see what comes or doesn't.

Keep the snow and ice, thaw it out and use it to water your flowers in the summer!!

Stormy cold weather due to kick in from mid next week around the 10th, it could be the lead in to a cold spell. have to wait and see.

Some met people are taking about the possibility of severe wintry weather hitting in shortly after Christmas or early in January. They are basing it on current pooling of very cold masses of air above the northern Atlantic and an expected moving south of the jet stream which will allow the cold air to move south.
