The fine spell of weather still looks like it is going to hold for another week at least but getting colder with a small chance of snow in places. It will be cold enough for snow but maybe not enough cloud to cause anything of significance.

In my experience it always gets mild just before snow. Don't want to see any of it thank you. Despite me buying those grip things for my shoes!!!

Probably not hard to believe but this is the longest fine dry spell since last March, maybe the only one to have lasted more than 3 days.

There's a danger of getting a cold snap leading up to St Patrick's day and could be unusually very cold for March. It might all change but that's the longer range view at the moment.

March of many weathers.. I remember over 30 years ago, it snowed at Easter, it was my aunt's birthday and it was 22nd April !!! so snow in March maybe not so strange, as long as it's for a few days only.. if any longer, I will be having a word.

No let up with the colder weather for a while yet, it's not too bad when the sun shines but cold enough without it and getting colder. It could snow for Easter yet as it's at the end of this month.
