Why are teenage girls much less likely to cycle to school than boys?

Because they wouldn't wear the helmets

And that's the main reason?

I'd say near enough, they wouldn't look cool, flies would stick to their make up.. their hair would get messed up..

Why are teenage girls much less likely to cycle to school than boys? Not sure where this relates to Waste minimisation. However, in the sort of single continuous season we had from July to April do you regularly cycle in your kilt? Is the school uniform the real culprit?

Waste minimisation in that they are not been driven to school.
Rain gear is allowed when cycling but not common with school going children.
