Hi all. I'm due to take my driving test in May and applied for the Naas area but a company in Newbridge is doing the test and I'll be starting off from there. Have practised the Naas route but not the Newbridge one, anyone know if it is harder? Will be doing the test at eight am so can imagine the town will be busy. My nerves are shot altogether.

Why not take a pre-test around the Newbridge Area. I'm sure there are lots of driving schools that would be only too happy to take you on a pre-test lesson around the official route. Good luck with the driving test and let us all know how you get on!!!

Only yesterday my daughter got her date for her 2nd driving test. She applied for Naas, (as she'd done it there before) but got it in the Newbridge centre. We rang up, and very easily changed it to the Naas centre, and actually got a date two weeks earlier. The chap on the phone couldn't have been more helpful!!

I hate Naas. Such a shithole of a town. I did my driving test there many years ago and thankfully passed my test the first time. I was lucky that a very old friend lives in Naas so I know the town inside out and was very aware of all the routes. But never again in a million years would I sit my driving test again. The worst time of my life!!!

I took my test in newbridge and passed first time. thank god! My experience was a plesant one and I would recomend the Newbridge centre. The tester was really helpful and settled my nerves. Not at all the nightmare I thought it would be. Newbridge is not as busy as naas so that was also a bonus. My friend works for in the call centre for sgs, who are the company contracted to take the tests in newbridge and she says the sgs testers have a higher pass rate than naas.

Passing driving test is not easy but proper training can help you to pass the exam and practical tests easily. I personally got my driving lessons from Port Macquarie Driving School. The instructor was highly experienced and helped me a lot with basics to advanced driving lessons.
