You could contact the Dublin Beekeeping Services. Here is the website: www.dublinbeekeepingservices.com/index.html It is very dangerous to try to deal with them yourself, and it would be a shame to kill them. Beekeepers are glad to get them. I had to call someone a couple of years ago as I had a bumblebee's nest in my lawn. A man came and took them up to the Strawberry Beds, where he had hives or something. Apparently the honey from bumblebees is really good, but those particular creatures weren't much use. He just liked them. I can't remember who he was or if he charged a fee. Wasps are a different matter though: useless and lethal! Rentokill are the best solution. I had a wasps nest in my attic the size of a football. A man came from Rentokill (or some place like that). He had to put on all the protective gear and go up and spray them. I was told to stay out of the attic for a while to be on the safe side. It was a few years ago, so I can't remember where I found him, but he certainly charged a fee.
