2 week's ago, i was offered a couple of bin tag's, you know the €7 one's from the council, for a fiver or 3 for €10. i was wondering how they got them, needless to say i said no, i really did.i was talking about it in the local at the weekend and was told that a neighbour of somebody's was putting one bin tag under his bin, put putting out 2 bin's.needless to say the man got nosey and looked under the bin himself one morning. there was an bin tag there but it was not filled out.so apperently that is how it's done. is this going on anywhere else or just our honest area. ;D

apperently, the householder is getting two bin's emptied for a €7 bin tag instead of a tag for each bin, which he does not write on, so the binman is selling the tag for a fiver.

mcfly if you look for the ref number and paste the shortcut into the post e.g.

I copied this from an earlier picture in one of the existing posts
I have deliberately left out a square bracket [ at the beginning and end ] so that you can see how its done.

I don't think it is better in their pockets. The fact that these fellas have jobs, and they are selling these on the side is wrong... Greed is what it is. and the more people buy them the more it will go on. If and when these guys are caught, they'd be the first to bleat about unfair dismissal. There are quite a few bin companies giving competitive rates, that 's the only way to make KCC drop their rates.
