Facebook is very simple to use forester. You can keep your whole profile private.. in other words the only people who will see your postings and photos are the people you befriend.. You have to request to be someones friend and they have to send you a request to be yours. That way you are in control. you can have 'conversations' with someone and they alone can see what's typed. It's a great medium but as with everything you have to be careful, about who can see what you write and what Facebook can do with your info. You make sure that everything you do is kept private. You'd be surprised at the amount of people who leave their profiles wide open for anyone to look at.

yes forester you can block anyone you want. As I said, it's up to you who posts messages on your page. And if you get a friend request from someone you don't wish to associate with, you can refuse or block someone by name.

thanks; it#s a pity i didn't open facebook long time ago. i gave what i thought was a respectable person a cd of old photos of our town and was told that ''they were purely for his viewing''. what did i find on a page in facebook, 'yes' you guessed it-photos of mine.''jaysus'' that's after getting on my nerve's. better hope i don't meet same person over next couple day's.
