There are lots of reports of robberies in the area of late.
Peoples sheds have been cleaned out and some local businesses (especially Super Valu) seem to be going through a rough time at present.
Although they are sometimes blamed unfairly for a lot of anti-social behaviour and we have our fair share of settled troublemakers, a lot of the current problems seem to be attributed to the travellers.
We might be wise to review security on our property and belongings and not give opportunity to any thieves.

Shed robberies going on around these parts too. Unfortunately it seems to be the afore-mentioned group, from sightings by the unfortunate affected..

A good few shed robberies in Oldtown Mill and St Raphael's Manor that I know of lately.
You could "meet the McDonaghs" out doing their fundraisers.

We're considering purchasing a house in Ballyfarsoon, should we be worried about break-ins or anti-social behaviour as we're a retired couple. I would appreciate any helpful advice. John
