I have just seen a list of 120 different, clubs/organisations/societies/groups, active in Monasterevin. A prize to anyone who can name more than 100 and who doesn't have the same list as I have.

..yeah our Blues are playin' in the All Ireland Club Semi Final next weekend...Gaelic Grounds,Limerick v Finuge of Kerry...........c'mon the Blues.........a mighty achievement from such a small town..........

On Sunday 24 Feb, there is a fundraiser in the bellyard pub by Monasterevin horse and pony club,for baby Rhiain. Hunt starts at the bellyard at 1.30. There is an auction and raffle after the hunt. There will be music aswell..should be good fun

there is now a page on facebook called-monasterevin heritage site. where you can see and put photo's of our town and people in it from year's ago.look at it-it's free, fun and sometime's educational. but, it's all memories. something we will always have.
