[ Forester, I cheated! I used Google Earth and took a stroll down what I thought was the main street. There it was. I believe that I did ride through Kildare from Dublin to Monasterevin about 42 years ago. well your an honest cheater. on a different level- are you originally from monasterevan. My grandmother came from Monasterevin area (Killeen according to the 1901 Census). I visited once in 1969.

I visited once in 1969. spoke to an elderly gent today, to find out whereabout's killeen is, as i have never heard of it. was told it's the road to the right of the crosskeys leading toward the grave-yard. did you check the register lately to see if you have relative's still in the area.

Forester, from looking on Google Earth, that's exactly the area. I also have seen a picture of graveyard. I have a cousin (once removed) who lives in Ballyadding/Ballybrittas. My grandmother was a Toole/Holligan.

sorry, lighting you have already got in your photgraph's have to stay. you could lighten them a bit but you would also be lightening other colors as well. so you will be back to square 1.. so no luck there.

The other thing is that it doesn't have to be photos taken in Monasterevin.
