It looks like the orange ones might be 'hot' topics, or more active ones... I could be wrong of course.. the boss didn't take me into his confidence

The flame icon denotes hot topics ok, I think the heat kicks in after 15 replies.

i have a question for the ladies. just got a box of chicken carcass's for the dog's. however i was also told by the man who sold them to me that if i boil them and add vegetable's and some stock. i could make a lovely broth. is this true and does any-one have a simple recipe to share.

Well, you shouldn't be giving chicken bones to dogs for a start.. you try telling my dog's that, they love them and (touch wood) they are 100% fighting fit. might even try eating them meself. ;D ;D

Well chicken bones splinter, and they can cause damage to the dogs innards.. if you eat them you know there might be consequences, so tough titty.. the dogs don't know that though..so......

Guys Queenie is so right. chicken bones are a seriously risky item to feed dogs. If your dog is unlucky enough to have a problem with one the internal damage can be horrendous and very very painful.
