From "Google Earth" it looks like you're looking towards the mouth of the Eany River Haven't a clue as to which town you're looking from

Looks like the burnt out leftovers of a party down by the Liffey reservoir ( lake you call it ) between Celbridge and Leixlip.

Not a party Joe, this is one of many down at the lake. Fishermen, from another country, catch the fish and instead of throwing the fish back they cook them on disposable barbecues. then they just leave the rubbish there. I took a photo of two of the fishermen as one of my dogs splashed around in the water near them, spooking all the fish, naughty doggy, and they were not that pleased. I don't say too much to them, but I make it a little bit difficult for them. the bailiffs have been around a good bit lately, but really there is no need to cook that rubbish fish, when you can go to Aldi and get fish very cheaply. I know they like the experience of fishing, but I don't like the experience of the dirt they leave behind them and the threat to our swans and other wildlife.

They are dirty f'rs ok - if they are driving there's a chance of getting a reg# and reporting them.
Why do you say "rubbish fish"?

Roach and perch Joe, we don't eat them here, they are small and boney. They also catch pike and eat that too, our rivers are being emptied big time, because the small fish that should be thrown back are being taken and sometimes just thrown away!! I had two guys looking for sonar equipment the other day.. Now that's cheating!!!

I used to get a large bottle of Dwans orange off a local ( local to me ) publican for every pike I gave him, seemingly he liked pike. Nobody ever wanted roach or perch so they went back.
