So im really grateful to anyone involved with putting these around the place and most of them are stunning but could the ones on our footbridge and main bridge not be a little nicer like Leixlips ones on their bridge, The planting is just a bit scraggy looking or something, the ones on the bridge in Chapelizod are beautiful too. maybe people could take a look and get inspiration for next year. In fact Leixlips flowers on a whole are nicer than ours which is sad since our main street is prettier overall. Any chance of persuading more premises to get on board with window boxes, Post office have none or any of the taxi places? The ones along the mill wall are much nicer this year and Mcnamees ones on their walls are looking so nice!

The flowers on the bridge in Celbridge have the classical look.

The whole town looks lovely, we all (on feeder bus) commented on how well it looks on the way to the station early this morning.

Ys the town looks the best it ever has, I agree but I stand by what I said Yes, I respect your views and I haven't been to Leixlip. Just some times I think that many towns go over the top with flowers - I think the likes of Killarney is 'Petunia Heaven'. Everywhere 'you look, there's bloody petunias'.

I wasn't referring to Celbridge, I was just saying that the likes of Killarney is 'over the top'. Ours (Celbridge) are lovely but the amount of signage really detracts from them. Just stand at the top of the Main Street (Castletown Gate) and look down the hanging baskets/ tubs certainly fade into the background.
