Good news, that should help create more interest.

Good to see the large support around the Main St today. The efforts of the organisers were rewarded. Thanks to the trojan work of a small band of helpers who set up and cleared up afterwards, and the assistance of the local Gardai should take a bow. Mention must also be made of the Tidy Towns who had Celbridge looking well before the event, and ensured it was returned to glory afterwards.
Thanks to all

All went off very well on a small budget. For next year I hear that two of the big American bands have already been booked so hopefully this will generate more of an impetus for businesses to get a bigger involvement in the funding necessary to do a full rail off along the footpath. The big bands also come at a price so proper funding is vital.

Well done to the organisers of the parade and all of the work that goes into the event. It was also good to see the Tidy Towns people follow along with their rubbish bags after the event, although I think there was not a whole lot of rubbish especially given the size of the crowd, which extended the length of Main St to the Garda Station. Well done to all concerned, including the spectators.

Thanks Grumpy, maybe rubbish generally wasn't as bad but there was one particularly bad stretch.

Thanks Grumpy, maybe rubbish generally wasn't as bad but there was one particularly bad stretch. Sorry to see that. However, when I walked the length of the Main St around 6pm there was nothing like that to be seen. A testament to the good work of the Tidy Towns people.
